Website Design & Development
My Web Design package is geared towards individuals looking for an online presence and small businesses.
With that said, if the package doesn't cover everything that you need I can create a customized package to meet
all of your needs.
So what do you get for $500?
Each website I develop will be driven by a MySQL database so that you can update your sites content when and where you want. With other design companies, your initial design is one cost, then each update that is needed carries additional costs. With one of my designs you will have full control over what is shown on your site. I provide a simple control panel, from which you can update your sites' pages.
Each site will be written in valid XHTML and CSS per the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and optimized for all major web browsers such as Mozilla FireFox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Google Chrome. To provide the dynamic aspect of of your site, the back end is written in PHP and utilizes MySQL databases to store your information.
You'll receive the initial design in the form of a JPEG for your approval and you're allowed one revision. This design will become the template for each page of your website. In addition, I will build a Search Engine friendly Site Map to ensure that every page of your site is indexed in the search engines as well as a targeted list of keywords. Your site will also be submitted to the major search engines automatically.
It's important to receive feedback from your visitors, so each site comes with a basic contact form. But keep in mind, if you are feeling technically inclined the editor provided allows for XHTML code with which you can build your own form. And just as important is feedback is data on who is visiting your site. Each site will include Google Analytics that provide a vast amount of information about your visitors.
Once the site is completed you wont have to worry about where to host it because part of the package is a 1 year business hosting plan which includes domain name registration for a year, a $108 value! With the business hosting plan you can host up to 2 domains, 30 sub-domains and 100 professional e-mail addresses.
You'll easily pay $1,000 or more for this package at other sites, but I'm offering you all this for only $500! Why am I doing this? The simple answer is because I can, but in reality this type of service is part of my mission statement. I'm trying to offer affordable solutions for small businesses and individuals.

Website Maintenance
So with all this power, what happens if you accidentally break your site? If it is determined that the error was
something caused by you, there will be a fee of $150 to restore your site to the default settings while trying to
restore any data that you may have edited.
If it is determined that the issue was beyond anyone's control, I will at no cost restore the site to the default settings and attempt to restore as much data as possible.
If you already have a website that was not designed and deployed by me and need basic customization, I charge $15 per half hour with minimum of 1 half hour. This will include adding, deleting and editing HTML, CSS and Javascript scripts. If you require server-side functionality, I charge $25 per half hour and a minimum of 1 half hour. This includes adding, deleting and editing PHP and MySQL scripts and functions.
If it is determined that the issue was beyond anyone's control, I will at no cost restore the site to the default settings and attempt to restore as much data as possible.

Content Management
If you already have a website in place that was not designed and deployed by me and need some updates to your content I will
be more than happy to assist you. For $20 per half hour, $20 minimum, I can add, delete and edit the content of your site which consists of
images and text only. For scripting needs please see my Website Maintenance section. If your current hosting configuration
allows and you have a section on your site that requires constant updates I can implement a mini content management system for
an $50 setup fee and $25 for each section.
E-Commerce
For businesses that require a store front, during our initial consultation we will determine your exact needs and put
together a custom package tailored to your individual requirements. Because every business has unique needs it is impossible
to place a price on it.
With each e-commerce package you'll receive a custom shopping cart that seamlessly integrates with your sites design, a intuitive control panel to manage your inventory and orders as well as integration with PayPal so you can accept online payments.
